Broken water valve interrupts water service in Marikina, 4 Rizal towns

MANILA, Philippines – Water service will be interrupted in Marikina City and four towns in Rizal proince, a radio report said on Wednesday. Radio dzBB’s Sam Nielsen said the water interruption is due to a broken main water valve in Provident Village in Marikina City. Also affected are Antipolo, Binangonan, Taytay, and Angono towns in Rizal. The report quoted Manila Water officials as saying that they had to “shut down some of the main valves" connecting to the said areas while the broken water pipe in Marikina is being fixed. - Sophia Dedace, GMANews.TV
