1 hurt in predawn accident on Edsa

MANILA, Philippines - A motorist was injured after his sedan hit a concrete barrier and turned over its side along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Quezon City before dawn Tuesday. Radio dzXL reported that rescuers needed several minutes to extricate the motorist, who was not immediately named, from the maroon Nissan Sentra (WBP-525). The motorist suffered injuries in different parts of the body and was brought to the East Avenue Medical Center for treatment. Initial investigation showed the incident took place past 4 a.m., where the car turned on its side after hitting a concrete barrier and running out of control.
