LPGMA to cut LPG price by P2/kilo
MANILA, Philippines - Independent cooking gas retailers on Friday announced that it would be slashing their liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices by P2 per liter, GMAâs Flash Report said. Arnel Ty, president of the LPG Marketers Association, was quoted as saying the LPG price cut would take effect at 12:01 a.m. Saturday. The reduction would bring down the price of an 11-kilogram cylinder tank by P22, from P522 to P489. LPGMA supplies LPG products to 30 percent of the Luzon market, and carries brands such Pinnacle Gas, Cat Gas, Omni Gas, Nation Gas, and Island Gas. The retailers group last cut back its product prices last Tuesday, when it implemented a P1 per kilogram reduction. - Mark Merueñas, GMANews.TV
