Release of 2008 bar exam results delayed

MANILA, Philippines – The 6,364 bar hopefuls may have to wait a little longer after the Supreme Court moved the expected release of the exam results from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the latest. Supreme Court spokesman Midas Marquez said the passers – identified only through number codes – would still have to be matched with their names. “Nagde-decode pa kasi at after the decoding, immediately after, ilalabas na natin iyan [We still have to decode the results before releasing them]," Marquez said earlier in a radio interview. The list of names will be also displayed at the Supreme Court premises and will be flashed on wide screens at the SC front yard near the Padre Faura entrance.
