Fake Louis Vuitton products worth P20M seized in Binondo, Tondo

MANILA, Philippines — Counterfeit Louis Vuitton products estimated to cost P20 million have been seized in Manila. Agent of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) seized P20 million worth of counterfeit Louis Vuitton products during simultaneous raids in Binondo and Tondo, Manila. Raided were Chipsie General Merchandise located at Pasilio 1E-03, ground floor at 168 Shopping Mall, Sta. Elena St., Binondo, Manila; Pasilio 2E-43 at 2nd floor, 168 Shopping Mall; Anarod Commercial at Pasilio 1-24, 2nd floor, Cluster 1 Bldg., Tutuban Center, C.M. Recto Ave., Tondo, Manila; Pasilio P-23 at 2nd floor, Cluster 2 Bldg., Tutuban Center; and Room 21 at 3rd floor, 774 Juan Luna St., Binondo, Manila. NBI Director Nestor M. Mantaring said the raids were covered by search warrants issued by Judge Antonio M.. Eugenio of the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 24. The NBI Anti-Graft Division (AGD), which raided the stalls, said charges of unfair competition e owners are being readied against the suspects. - GMANews.TV
