'Hayden cam' case: Katrina breaks down in anger, lashes at Kho

MANILA, Philippines- Embattled actress Katrina Halili broke down in anger Thursday as she related to senators how she felt about the sex video scandal that hounded her during the past few weeks. In the middle of her testimony, Halili looked directly at Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. and said: "Ang kapal ng mukha mo, nakakatingin ka pa... [You have the gall to even look at me...]" At that point, Sen. Ma. Ana Consuelo "Jamby" Madrigal, chair of the Senate committee on Youth, Women, and Family Relations conducting the inquiry, suspended the hearing. Before her angry outburst at Kho, Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. had asked Halili how she was feeling. The actress said, "Galit [Anger]." When asked what the sex videos did to her career, Halili she lost some of her endorsements and projects because of the spread of the recordings. Halili also said that she could not go out because "maraming tao sa paligid ko na masama ang tingin sa akin [many people around me glare at me]." Halili was supposed to continue replying to Revilla's queries when she looked at Kho and flared up. Madrigal asked Halili not to use strong language against Kho and ordered to have Halili's statement be stricken off the record. Halili then sobbed and bent her head over the table, and had to be calmed down by her companions. Kho bowed his head while Halili was crying. - GMANews.TV
