5 killed in C5 road accident in Parañaque City

MANILA, Philippines - Five people, including three children and their grandmother, were killed in a road accident on the C-5 Road Extension in Sucat in Parañaque City Sunday afternoon. Radio dzBB reported Monday the accident occurred at 3 p.m. and involved a Honda CR-V (ZAF-852) that hit the victims who were crossing the road at the time. Initial investigation showed the CR-V went out of control after another vehicle sideswiped it. The CR-V spun and eventually hit the center island. Hit and killed by the CR-V driven by Maria Victoria Abiog, 42, were John Christian Alde, John Lloyd Alde and Jomari Bravo, and grandmother Nenita Lopez. Also killed was Abiog's son Justin, 16.
