Burglars break into NLRC office, takes chairman's P100K - report

MANILA, Philippines - Unidentified burglars broke into the office of the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) in Quezon City and took some P100,000 from the chairman's office. Radio dzBB reported early Tuesday the burglars took the amount, which NLRC chairman Gerardo Nograles was to use to buy a plane ticket. Investigators suspect an inside job as there was no sign of forced entry, the same radio report said. Nograles' executive assistant Danilo Pambuan said the cash was left in the drawer in the chairman's office since June 11. Pambuan said he was surprised to learn of the incident only Monday, when he was about to buy the plane ticket. - GMANews.TV
