799 pass medtech board exams; UST, MCU grads top list


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday that a total of 799 examinees passed the September 2009 Medical Technology Board Exams, with graduates of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Manila Central University (MCU) topping the list. Of 1,404 examinees, Alvin Rey Fajardo of UST and Judea Marie Bajamunde Policarpio of MCU topped the exams by both scoring 87.5 percent. Coming in close second to Fajardo and Bajamunde were Tristan Angelo Macasa Calaquian of the Angeles University Foundation in Pampanga and Oliver Doctolero Pintor of Saint Louis University in Baguio City, both with 87.1 percent. Third placer Raymund Joseph Arellano Sorgon of the University of San Agustin scored 87 percent, trailed by Patricia Bettina Flores Villanueva of UST at 86.8 percent for 4th place. Margarita Katrina Amor Degillo Tan of the University Of Perpetual Help System-Laguna was 5th with an 86.5 percent score, while Garrett Pasco Paltao of Trinity University of Asia was 6th at 86.2 percent. Florence Amor Galiza Lorenzo (UST) was 7th at 85.5 percent, followed by Glenn Wilson Yang Ng of UST sharing 8th place with Glenn Nathaniel San Diego Valloso of MCU with a score of 85.4 percent. Darius Ranile Enario of Velez College shared 9th place with Eldy Kristine Domingo Mationg (UST) with an 85.3-percent score. Tying for 10th place were Robina Palanog Cesar of Riverside College and Rene Ii Deocampo Latog of the Iloilo Doctors’ College with a score of 85.2 percent.
