Woman ‘falls’ from footbridge into MRT tracks in Pasay

A 37-year-old woman was rushed to a hospital after falling from a footbridge into the tracks of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) in Pasay City Wednesday night. Radio dzBB reported Thursday that police are still trying to determine if Lisa Almazan jumped off the Malibay footbridge. The incident occurred near the MRT's Taft Avenue station. Almazan sustained an injured hip, and was lucky no MRT coach hit her while she was on the tracks, the dzBB report said. Bystanders rushed her to the Pasay City General Hospital, but she was later transferred to the Philippine General Hospital in Manila. - GMANews.TV
