Meralco announces rotational brownouts for Saturday, Sunday

Power distributor Manila Electric Co. announced on Saturday two scheduled power interruptions in Manila to give way to some maintenance work. Parts of Binondo district, San Nicolas district, Ilaya, C.M. Recto Ave., and Tabora Street would experience power outages starting 11 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday, radio dzBB reported. The outages would give way for the replacement of posts and relocation of Meralco’s facilities in Manila’s Binondo area, the report said. — Nikka Corsino/LBG, GMANews.TV
