UPLB grad leads 476 nutritionist-dietitian licensure exam passers


A graduate from the University of the Philippines in Los Banos (UPLB) in Laguna topped the licensure exams for nutritionist-dietitians administered this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday. UPLB’s Joyce Rivera led the 476 exam passers, with a score of 86.80 percent, followed by Rosario Pillar Monzales from UP Diliman (UPD) who got a score of 86 percent. Rozel Ann Alcaide from the University of Sto. Tomas – 85.40 percent 5. Clarice Estela Clemente from UPD – 85.25 percent 6. Cristina Marie Cruz from the Pangasinan State University in Lingayen – 84.75 percent 7. Jessica Puyat from the University of the East in Manila – 84.60 percent 8. Charmaine Anne Manango from UPLB – 84.25 percent 9. Ahmel Atienza and Reyane Christia Recio from UPLB – 84.05 percent 10. Sherbene Guerrero from UPLB – 83.95 percent The exam was given to 676 graduates this month by the PRC’s Board of Nutrition and Dietetics in Manila and Zamboanga. Registration for the issuance of professional identification cards and certificate of registration will run from August 4 to August 14, while the oath-taking ceremony will be held on August 20 in Makati City, according to the PRC.—JV, GMANews.TV
