Visayas State U grads top list of new agri engineers


Graduates of the Visayas State University (VSU) topped the 213 passers of the agricultural engineer licensure exam given this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday. CLICK HERE FOR LIST OF SUCCESSFUL EXAMINEES VSU’s Julious Cerna garnered the highest score of 84.20 percent in the agricultural engineer board exam administered by the PRC’s Board of Agricultural Engineering last Tuesday in Manila, Baguio and Davao, the PRC said. Another VSU graduate, Jonas Buhay, placed second in the exam, with a score of 83.80 percent, according to the PRC. Other examinees who made it to the “Top 7" were: 3. Mark Anthony Dela Cruz of the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB) – 82.20 percent 4. John Eduard Brenches of the Bicol University campus in Guinobatan – 81.25 percent 5. Clyde Angelo Bisares of UPLB and Ronie Lusares of the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) – 81.05 percent 6. Jayson Tee of the Cagayan State University – 80.80 percent 7. Dexter Catoera of USeP – 80.65 percent Registration for the issuance of professional identification card (ID) and certificate of registration will start on September 1, while the oath taking of successful examinees will be held on September 23 at the Manila Hotel, the PRC said.—Andreo C.
