1 killed in shooting incident in Caloocan City
At least one person was killed while an undetermined number of people were wounded after unidentified men fired at their car in Caloocan City Friday morning. Radio dzBB's Allan Gatus cited initial police reports indicating that the incident occurred at Block 16, Lot 6 in Bagumbong village. The victims' red Toyota Corolla (PRP-422) was peppered with bullets, the report said. An initial investigation showed the vehicle was carrying six passengers at the time it was fired at. Those injured were rushed to the East Avenue Medical Center and Quezon City General Hospital. The identities of the victims were not available as of posting time. Only last Wednesday, an unidentified man shot dead a pastor while he was still inside his car near a housing area in Quezon City. (See: Pangasinan pastor shot dead in Quezon City) The incident along Banlat Road in the city's Tandang Sora district prompted police to close off a portion of the road to traffic. Killed was Joseph Saliba, 42, a pastor of the Baptist Church in Dagupan, Pangasinan. â RSJ, GMANews.TV
