Police release sketch of suspect in ABS-CBN exec’s slay
Authorities released on Thursday the cartographic sketch of the suspected killer of ABS-CBN executive producer Joselito Siervo. Police said a witness described the last person he saw Siervo with as in his early 20s; between 5' 7" to 5' 8" in height; is medium built; is fair complexioned; with hair highlighted with colors brown and white; and wearing a white shirt and jeans and a silver necklace. The witness, whom police would not identify, said he saw the two the night before the incident happened. He believed the suspect is one of the dancers of ABS-CBN. ABS-CBN has yet to confirm if they have a dancer who matches the description given by the witness. Siervo will be laid to rest Thursday afternoon. Police earlier said Siervo's killers used the victim's mobile phone and even made a withdrawal using the victim's automated teller machine (ATM) card after the murder. Investigators are already conducting background checks on Siervo's friends. Siervo, 38, executive producer of the reality television show "Pinoy Dream Academy," was found dead inside his home at Heroes Hill in Quezon City Friday morning. His body bore several stab wounds. Laundrywoman Nida Canaling discovered the murder after reporting for work Friday. She said she borrowed the keys to Siervo's residence from the landlord. Two unidentified people were reportedly seen arriving with Siervo before dawn Friday. - Amita Legaspi, GMANews.TV
