DTI issues candle price guide, warns All Souls' Day profiteers
As November 2, All Souls' Day nears, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) issued a candle price guide and warned vendors against profiteering. The DTI, in its price guide, said retailers who sell above the suggested retail prices will be dealt with accordingly. "Retailers selling above the set SRP (suggested retail price) will be dealt with accordingly, pursuant to Republic Act 7581 or the PRICE ACT," the DTI said. The DTI also encouraged consumers to send complaints or reports via text to DTI Secretary Gregory Domingo at 0917 806-3473. Calls may also be made to the DTI hotline at 751-3330.
