Rizal Park prepares Valentine's Day attractions for lovers, families

Manila's Rizal Park has lined up activities such as free concerts for lovers and families on Valentine's Day, February 14. Radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported that the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) organized free concerts at the park from 6:00 p.m. to midnight on Monday. The NPDC also turned the central lagoon into a wishing fountain where couples and families may throw in coins. Park officials will also offer prizes to couples who have the sweetest way of throwing their coins into the fountain. The prizes include trips to tourist spots like Boracay, the report said. Rizal Park has been a popular gathering place especially for families on holidays such as Christmas, New Year's Day, and Valentine's Day. – VVP, GMA News
