1,190 pass electronics engineer, electronics technician exams


A total of 1,190 hopefuls passed the electronics engineer and electronics technician licensure examinations held this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said Thursday. According to the PRC, registration for the issuance of professional identification cards and certificate of registration will start on April 25 until May 6. Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • Accomplished oath form or panunumpa ng propesyonal;
  • Current community tax certificate (cedula);
  • Two pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag);
  • One piece 1" x 1" picture (colored with white background and complete name tag);
  • Two sets of metered documentary stamps; and
  • One short brown envelope with name and profession.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, the PRC said. Registrants are likewise required to pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for the years 2010 to 2014, it said. Meanwhile, the oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees will be held on May 17 at 1 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City.—Jesse Edep/JV, GMA News
