Bobby Pacquiao wants out of brother’s care

Bobby Pacquiao is not satisfied with how his management team handled his last fight. Problem is, his management team is headed no less than by his more illustrious brother - boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao. Upon his arrival in General Santos City Thursday, Bobby said that part of the blame for his failing to make the 130-pound limit against Mexican Hector Velasquez last week should be on Pacquiao and American trainer Freddie Roach. For failing to meet the weight limit, Bobby was penalized $15,000. Bobby said that before his elder brother arrived at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, Roach’s focus was to train him for the fight against Velasquez. But soon after Pacquiao arrived, Roach’s focus shifted solely on Manny. "The lack of a trainer while practicing inside the gym took a heavy toll on me. I was dismayed…how can I train if all attention is focused on Manny," lamented Bobby in Filipino. And because of such experience, Bobby said he will try to look for a manager when his management contract with Manny expires. "I think it would be better if I get a new trainer and manager," he said. - GMANews.TV
