DOH sets June 25 as Philhealth registration day

The Department of Health (DOH) has set June 25 as a registration day for the government's PhilHealth health insurance program. Dubbed "PhilHealth Sabado," the DOH said the registration day is for Filipinos who are not yet PhilHealth members but can pay for their premium contributions. "The event also entails an advocacy activity to further educate members about their PhilHealth benefits, how and where these may be availed of as well as on their duties and responsibilities as members," the DOH said in a news release. The DOH said the one-day registration activity will be held at selected public schools to be identified by the Department of Education (DepEd). The registration will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - VVP, GMA News
