2 bodies found in Tondo, Manila


Manila police are investigating the suspected summary execution of two men whose bodies were dumped in the city's Tondo district before dawn Thursday. A report on dwIZ radio said the victims, whose bodies were found in separate areas along Road 10 in Tondo, both bore marks in the neck indicating they were strangled. The first victim was found at the corner of Road 10 and Sandico Street. He was described as 35 to 40 years old, 5'3" tall, slim, and wearing a black undershirt and shorts. He had three gunshot wounds in the chest, and strangulation marks in the neck.

Police homicide investigators are verifying claims of local residents who saw men aboard a motorcycle dump the first body at Sandico corner R-10. The second victim was described as 34 to 38 years old, 5'4" tall, medium-built, dark-complexioned, and wearing a blue undershirt and denim pants. But the second victim, who was found at the corner of Zaragoza Street and Road 10, bore at least three stab wounds in different parts of the body. — RSJ, GMA News
