Typhoon 'Seniang' leaves RP
Typhoon "Seniang" (international code name: Utor) was heading toward the South China Sea late Sunday night after pounding the Mindoro-Calamian area, the state weather bureau Pagasa said. In Pagasa's 10 p.m. bulletin, Seniang was plotted 140 kilometers northwest of Coron, Palawan or 200 kilometers west northwest of Occidental Mindoro. The typhoon, packing winds of 120 kph near the centerand gustiness of up to to 150 kph, was moving west northwest at 15 kph. On Monday evening, the weather disturbance is expected to be 450 km west northwest of Coron, Palawan. Public storm signal No. 2 (60 and 100 kph winds) was hoisted over the following areas: Occidental Mindoro Lubang Island Calamian Group of Islands Public storm signal No.1 (30 and 60 kph) is still in effect in the following areas: Oriental Mindoro Batangas Laguna Cavite Rizal Bataan Pampanga Bulacan Zambales Metro Manila Northern Palawan -GMANews.TV
