Cebu Pacific cancels 2 domestic flights due to bad weather

Air carrier Cebu Pacific on Tuesday canceled two flights between Manila and Bicol due to bad weather conditions. In an advisory on its Twitter and Facebook pages, Cebu Pacific said the canceled flights were 5J-323 and 5J-324: Manila to Legazpi and back. Cebu Pacific said affected passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights. It said passengers may also “rebook within 30 days of cancellation or Travel Fund without penalties." The airline allows passengers to store value in a Travel Fund in lieu of rebooking or requesting a refund for flights cancelled. The value in the said fund may be used for future flights. "We always place top priority in your safety; thank you for your understanding. Please do stay tuned for more developments!" Cebu Pacific added. Earlier, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said rain may fall over parts of the country for one to two days due to the northeast monsoon affecting Luzon and an inter-tropical convergence zone affecting Mindanao. — KG, GMA News
