Korean news site: Is PNoy in love with Grace Lee?

A day before President Benigno Aquino III confirmed that he is seeing GMA Network host Grace Lee, a Korean news website reported that the rumored budding relationship has set off an Internet sensation. During Wednesday's anniversary rites of the Philippine Information Agency, Aquino said he and Lee are "seeing each other." The Korea Times said that the 51-year-old president is reportedly in a romantic relationship with Lee, who recently turned 30. The January 31 report said that Lee, whose Korean name is Lee Kyung-hee, was born and raised in Seoul, but had to move to the Philippines when she was 10 years old due to her father's business. The rumor began to spread when a Twitter posting quoted Lee as confirming she had dinner with President Aquino, but Lee later denied she revealed the alleged date to media. “[The] best thing to do now ay abangan na lang nila [kung] ano ang sasabihin ni President,” Lee said in an earlier report. Korea Times said South Korea's news wire "Newsis" also cited other tweets which said Aquino drove Lee home after they had dinner at a restaurant, although no date nor place was mentioned. Newsis also quotes a witness who said "Grace Lee led the conversation. The atmosphere during dinner was peaceful and harmonious." Korea Times said that Filipino media outlets have already produced stories on the possible couple, speculating that Lee may become the next First Lady. Last December, the President said settling down was not his priority. According to reports, Aquino mistook Lee for a Filipina, and found her pretty when he saw her at the inauguration of the KEPCO-SPC power plant in Cebu, an event which Lee hosted. "Even the Koreans who visit our country are beautiful. Maybe we should revive the Malacañang sa Sugbu because we might meet our fate here," Aquino said during the inauguration. Netizens had mixed reactions on the news. Some found it to be fitting as Valentine's Day approaches. "Wow pnoy seeing grace lee it's about time – u deserve some happiness too. go mr. president!" tweeted @jessie_1781. On the other hand, some others had negative reactions. "You know what kind of nation we are when our "breaking news" is about PNoy dating Grace Lee. #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines #facepalm," tweeted @lilstarkiddy. — LBG, GMA News
