Magnitude-6 quake felt from Pangasinan to Cavite, no reports of damage

At least three aftershocks rocked Luzon after a powerful magnitude-6.0 quake hit the area early Sunday, state seismologists said. But the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the three aftershocks as of 8 a.m. were weak, radio dzBB's Roland Bola reported. Phivolcs also cited more areas in Luzon where the quake was felt, from Pangasinan in the north to Cavite in the south. Earlier, Phivolcs measured the quake at magnitude 6.0, and warned of possible aftershocks, although it said damage to property is not likely.
