Erap, Isko visit Dolphy at Makati Med

Former President Joseph Estrada and new political ally Manila Vice Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso visited Comedy King Rodolfo “Dolphy” Vera Quizon in Makati City Saturday night.   But Estrada and Domagoso were unable to talk with Dolphy, who was resting at the time, radio dzBB reported Sunday.   They arrived at the Makati Medical Center shortly before 8 p.m. and left an hour later.   Domagoso tweeted they left the hospital at about 9 p.m. Saturday. Estrada also tweeted that he visited Dolphy.   Estrada and Domagoso have formed a political alliance for a possible run for mayor and vice mayor respectively in Manila in 2013 under Estrada’s Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino.   They are expected to challenge incumbent Mayor Alfredo Lim, an ally of President Benigno Aquino III’s Liberal Party.   A report by dzBB’s Manny Vargas said Evelyn Bontogan-Guerrero a.k.a. Matutina, Dolphy’s co-star on the hit comedy “John En Marsha,” was also among the Comedy King’s visitors.   The Comedy King, who had been hospitalized since early this month, showed signs of improvement Saturday, allowing him to undergo dialysis again.   His family said his heart rate and blood pressure had also improved as of Saturday. — ELR, GMA News
