Tulfo brothers post bail vs Mike Arroyo libel case

Journalists Ramon and Raffy Tulfo on Monday posted bail at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court for the libel case filed by First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo. The Tulfo brothers each posted a P10,000 cash bond at the sala of Judge Ralph Lee who issued an arrest warrant against the journalists on Friday. The case against the Tulfos was elevated in court after Assistant City Prosecutor Juan Rodulfo found probable cause for the filing of libel charges. Arroyo charged the Tulfos for allegedly issuing malicious and libelous statements during a press conference on Aug. 2, 2006. The Tulfos accused Arroyo of having a hand in the cancellation of the television show “Isumbong Mo (Tulfo Brothers)" aired over RPN Channel 9, a government-run television station.
