Cebu Pacific cancels 4 flights due to Pagadian runway row

Air carrier Cebu Pacific on Wednesday canceled at least four of its domestic flights due to a barricade at the Pagadian airport.

 

In a post on its Twitter account, the air carrier said Pagadian airport had been closed due to a barricade set up by protesters in a reported land dispute.

 

"(T)he Pagadian airport runway has been closed due to a barricade set-up by protesters over a reported land dispute," it said.

 

It said the canceled flights included: 

 

 

Cebu Pacific said it has arranged for an extra flight to re-accommodate the passengers on the affected flights.

 

It said the passengers may rebook, refund or place the value of their booking in a travel fund. — RSJ, GMA News
