CPA results out a day after exam: 1,553 out of 5,665 examinees pass


A day after the last day of examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday that 1,553 out of 5,665 passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.

De La Salle University topped the list of schools with the highest number of passers: 53 out of 55 examinees or 96.36 percent.
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be from June 5 to 7.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal,
current Community Tax Certificate (cedula),
one passport-size picture (color photo with white background and complete nametag),
two sets of metered documentary stamps, and
one short brown envelope with name and profession.

The passers must also pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2013-2016.  

The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. 
 
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later. - VVP, GMA News
