P1M goes up in smoke in predawn market fire in Caloocan
At least P1 million worth of property went up in smoke in a two-hour fire that razed a market in Caloocan City shortly early Sunday morning. Radio DZBB reported that no one was reported hurt in the fire. The blaze destroyed at least 10 stalls of the Maypajo Market. Caloocan fire marshal Chief Insp. Juan Reyes said the fire reached fifth alarm. He said the fire was tapped in at about 12:52 a.m. and was put out at 3 a.m. Initial investigation showed the fire started at the area near a stall owned by one Aquilina Panaligan.- GMANews.TV
