Tuguegarao grad tops over 4,000 CPA licensure exam passers
A graduate from Tuguegarao topped the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination held this October, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday.
Besting over 4,000 other passers from colleges and universities nationwide was Jackson Castillejos Apostol of the University of Saint Louis-Tuguegarao, the PRC said. He scored 93.86 percent.
A total of 4,246 out of 10,396 examinees passed the exam, the PRC said. [See list here.]
Ranking second was Loraine Juliano Santos of University of Santo Tomas (UST), with a score of 92.86 percent.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman topped the list of universities with passing students, with 83 out of its 84 examinees passing, creating a 98.81 percentage of students passed.
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be from Nov. 4-6, the PRC said. Examinees who passed must personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The PRC said the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced later. — Rie Takumi/KBK, GMA News
