Janet Lim-Napoles: A timeline to her tepid testimony

Controversial businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles appeared before the Senate blue ribbon committee on Thursday, November 7, to testify on her alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.

She denied the allegations against her but hardly revealed anything new before she was escorted back to the police camp in Laguna where she has been held on a charge of serious illegal detention since August.

It was the latest episode in a government investigation into a supposed scam that siphoned money from the Priority Development Assistance Fund into bogus non-governmental organizations and irregular projects.

Ultimately, the money supposedly went into the pockets of Napoles and some lawmakers, including three senators and two former members of the House of Representatives.
