634 pass nutrition-dietitian licensure exam – PRC


About 64 percent or 634 out of 997 examinees passed the Nutritionist-Dietitian Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday.

The exams were given by the Board of Nutrition and Dietetics in Manila and Zamboanga last month.

Ten of the top 12 scorers are graduates of the University of the Philippines. The topnotcher is Kelvin R-Jay Villalobos Esposo of UP Diliman, with a score of 86.35 percent. He is followed by Kristine Tensuan Vitasa of Manila Tytana Colleges (84.95 percent). The rest of the top 10 are:

6. Christopher John Garcia Macapugay (UP Diliman, 84.00 percent)
7. Isabel Gabriel Martinez (UP Diliman, 83.95 percent)
8. Verginia Jose Castro (UP Los Baños, 83.65 percent)
   Julianne Stefani Rico Malong (UP Diliman, 83.65 percent)
9. Adrienne Venish Cuerdo Gawtee (UP Diliman, 83.60 percent)
10. Jackie Lyn Badillo Arevalo (UP Diliman, 83.35 percent)

According to the PRC, the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Cards (ID) and Certificates of Registration will be held on August 14 and 15.

The date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony for new nutritionists and dietitians will be announced later.
