PRC bares passers of guidance counselor board exams


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday announced that 288 out of 442 passed the Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination given by the Board of Guidance and Counseling in Manila this August.
 
The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examination.

The members of the Board of Guidance and Counseling are its chair Dr. Luzviminda S. Guzman, and members Dr. Elena V. Morada and Dr. Carmelita P. Pabiton.
 
The PRC announced that the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration would be on August 18-19, 2014. 
 
Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), one piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), two sets of metered documentary stamps and one short brown envelope with name and profession.
 
They will also be required to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2014-2017.  
 
The PRC said the successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. 
 
The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later. —NB, GMA News
