The Philippines on Sunday started its bid for another world record, this time for the biggest human logo.
A photo by GMA News' Vonne Aquino showed participants gathering at the Armed Forces of the Philippines parade grounds to form the logo of the International Humanitarian Law.
In the photo, several participants were garbed in red, blue and white.

"We are attempting to beat Guinness record for largest human logo with 40,000 target participants," the Philippine Red Cross said on its Facebook page.
On its Instagram account, the Philippine Red Cross said it is promoting IHL toward "achieving national solidarity."
The Guinness World Records website said the current record for largest human logo was set on July 24, 1999, when 34,309 people organized by Realizar Eventos Especias gathered at the National Stadium of Jamor in Lisbon, Portugal.
In that event, they formed the Portuguese logo for Euro2004, "as part of the successful Portuguese bid to UEFA to hold the European football championships in 2004."
"The kicking leg of the player in the logo was composed of 651 gymnasts wearing black and white capes, which when swapped over, created the illusion of the player kicking the ball. Once the ball was kicked, it released 10,000 red and green helium balloons – the colours of the Portuguese flag," GWR said.
World record
Last October, Cebu set a Guinness record for the largest Zumba class after GWR adjudicator Provin Patel confirmed at least 8,232 people took part in the Zumba class at SM City, "Balita Pilipinas Ngayon" reported.
It was more than the 6,671 participants in India in 2012, the report said.
For the Zumba class, GWR required a non-stop 30-minute dance of basic Zumba. Leading the event was the certified Zumba Instructors Network (ZIN) in the Philippines.
Patel said he was impressed with the participants' discipline where they followed instructions quickly yet maintained a lighthearted demeanor.
He also appreciated the security provided by the new trainees of the Police Regional Office 7. — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
