Pope’s 3rd Filipino tweet: God’s compassion gives meaning to our struggles
During the third day of his stay in the country, Pope Francis posted his third tweet in Filipino while at his official residence at the Apostolic Nunciature on Saturday evening.
The tweet that was posted around 7 p.m. reminded Filipinos of the grace God gives us through our daily sacrifice.
Ang kahabagan ng Diyos, ang kanyang sakripisyo, ay nagbibigay saysay at halaga sa lahat ng ating paghihirap.

A couple of minutes earlier, Pope Francis tweeted the same message in English.
The com-passion of God, his suffering-with-us, gives meaning and worth to our struggles and our sufferings.

The post has already garnered 3,300 retweets and 3,800 favorites just ten minutes after it was tweeted.
Pope Francis earlier went to Tacloban where he had an intimate lunch with 30 super typhoon Yolanda survivors.
He also blessed the mass grave of Yolanda victims there and the Pope Francis Center for the Poor which was named to honor the 78-year-old charismatic pontiff.
However, inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm Amang cut his visit to the Leyte province short and forced him to fly back to Manila.
He arrived at the Papal Nunciature around 2:55 p.m. where he was greeted by a thick crowd.
