Makati govt gives P100k each to Fallen 44’s families

Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin Binay Jr. welcomed the kin of the 44 with a tribute at the Session Hall at the City Hall's 22nd floor.

Vice President Jejomar Binay, the mayor's father and a longtime local chief executive of Makati, was also present.

 

The mayor assured the families they are not alone in their fight for justice and pursuit of peace.

 

He urged the bereaved families to remain strong and continue to pursue a bright future, saying this was what their beloved heroes would have wanted.

 

Last Feb. 8, the Binays visited and distributed P100,000 each to 15 SAF troopers wounded in the mission.
