Family of PNPA cadet doubts cause of son's death

The family of the plebe who died at that Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) in Silang, Cavite, on Friday doubted the findings of authorities on the cause of the cadet’s death. The Mother of Cadet 4th Class Jeoffrey Corto of Lipa City, Batangas, said her son was in good health when he entered the academy six months ago. GMA 7’s Flash report, said that Corto had complains about the rigid training in the academy. Official findings indicated that Corto died of heart failure. The PNPA leadership ruled out the possibility that the cadet was a victim of hazing, but his mother thinks otherwise. –GMANews.TV
