DOH cautions public on ‘sa malamig’ refreshment drinks
With "sa malamig" or cold drinks seemingly more enticing amid the hot weather, the public was cautioned to be wary of where vendors got their water.
The DOH particularly warned against juices and cold drinks sold by ambulant or sidewalk vendors, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported early this week.
The report said the DOH is wary that the water used for the drinks may not be clean.
It warned consuming such drinks with contaminated water could lead to diarrhea and other conditions, the dzBB report said.
