Ex-cop killed in Caloocan City ambush - report

A former Caloocan City policeman died after he was ambushed by unidentified men, radio dzBB reported Sunday. The victim, identified as Benjie Garcia, former security aide of Caloocan City ex-mayor Rey Malonzo, was driving his tricycle when the men attacked him. He was declared dead on arrival at the Diosdado Macapagal Memorial Medical Center at Mabini street at about 10:30 a.m., Sunday. Garcia, president of a tricycle association at Iros village, sustained gunshot wound to the head. - GMANews.TV
