Erap supporters offer flowers for 'EDSA Tres' victims

Supporters of former President Joseph Estrada on Sunday offered flowers at the foot of Mendiola (Chino Roces) Bridge to remember those who died during the May 1, 2001, siege of Malacanang dubbed EDSA Tres. Seventeen people died in a clash with policemen as protesters attempted to enter Malacañang Palace. Meanwhile, the Manila Police District Command said it would not hesitate to disperse “trouble-makers" and those who would attempt to set foot on Mendiola Bridge, which was declared by the local government “no rally zone," on Monday.
