PNoy declares Feb. 25 next year a non-working holiday for 1986 EDSA Revolt Anniversary

President Benigno Aquino III has declared February 25 next year as a special non-working holiday to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

 

The declaration was made through Proclamation No. 1071.

For the past four years, Aquino declared Feb. 25 a non-working holiday, but only for schools.

 

The bloodless revolt ousted the late dictator, Ferdinand Marcos, and catapulted President Aquino's late mother, Corazon, into the presidency. — Andreo Calonzo/RSJ, GMA News
