PRC: 2,136 out of 3,866 pass Sept 2015 mechanical engineering licensure examination


Some 2,136 examinees passed the mechanical engineer licensure examination they took last September, the Professional Regulation Commission said late Friday evening.
 
Among the passers are graduates of four universities that had passing rates of 80 percent or higher and also had 50 or more examinees: the University of the Philippines – Diliman, Batangas State University, Technological University of the Philippines – Manila, and Saint Louis University.

 

Ranked first among the topnotchers was Micah Baculot Arceño of the University of Cebu with a rating of 88.45 percent. Right behind Arceño, from Bicol University, was Von Venus Triñanes with 88.05 percent.
 
Three alumni of Saint Louis University made it to the top 10: Eddie Recile Diong-an Jr. (87.95 percent),  Christian Santiago Agpalza (87.60 percent), and Reinard Adrian Licudine Romero (85.30 percent).
 
Also among the top 10 were Kevin Rodriguez Gravamen (87.10), Aljon Carbonel Ferrer (86.85), Rizalino Salve Caratao (86.40), Moises Asutigue Engaño (85.55), and Francis Rafael Benebente Luna (85.45).
 
The passing rate of this batch of 3,866 examinees was 55.25 percent.
