Grads of two colleges dominate aeronautics board exam
Two specialized colleges' graduates secured top ranks in the latest aeronautics engineering licensure examination the Professional Regulation Commission administered, results released on Monday showed.
The PRC also said 165 of the 271 examinees passed.
Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) graduates landed in four of the top ten ranks.
The state college saw 42 of its examinees pass the aeronautics board exam. It posted a 75 percent passing rate.
PATTS College of Aeronautics fielded more examinees—160 in all—and 93 of them passed, resulting in a hurdle rate of 58.13 percent. PATTS alumni were four among the top ten.

The PRC said all of the 14 examinees from Holy Angel University passed. HAU is based in Pampanga.
Only seven colleges had participants in the board exam. Aside from PhilSCA, PATTS, and HAU, the other aeronautics schools are: the Aeronautical Academy of the Philippines; the Cebu Aeronautical Technical School; FEATI University and MATS College of Technology. — ELR, GMA News
