Grace Poe’s quest to prove natural-born Filipino status continues

The Supreme Court on Tuesday will continue to hear oral arguments on the Commission on Elections' rulings to disqualify Senator Grace Poe from the 2016 presidential elections based on her questioned citizenship and allegedly inadequate years of residency in the country.

Here is an updated timeline on what happened before and until the high court last week heard Poe's lawyer Attorney Alexander Poblador argue against the Comelec's cancelation of the senator's certificate of candidacy for president.
