Pacquiao on LGBT comments: I'm not condemning anyone, just telling what Bible says

Filipino ring icon and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao on Tuesday defended his comments about members of the lesbians, gays, transgender, and transgender (LGBT) community, saying that he wasn't condemning anyone, but was merely telling the truth from the Bible.

After sparking a social media firestorm with his remarks about same-sex marriage being worse than animals, Pacquiao took to Instagram to argue his position.

"I rather obey the Lord's command than obeying the desires of the flesh. Im not condemning anyone, but I'm just telling the truth of what the Bible says. The truth from the Bible is what changed me from my old ways," he wrote on the photo sharing site.

He also quoted 1 Corinthians 6:9 in his post: "Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men."

He ended his post with the message: "God Bless everyone i love you all."
