First PiliPinas debate to air Sunday in various platforms

The five candidates vying for the presidency will take the stage together on Sunday, February 21, for the first of a series of debates hosted by the Commission on Elections (Comelec). This is the first time the Comelec has hosted such a presidential-debate series in two decades.

Organized by GMA Network and the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the first of the three presidential debates will be held at the Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro City.

Ngayong February 21, tunghayan sa GMA ang kauna-unahang Comelec debate ng mga presidentiables hatid nina Mike Enriquez at Jessica Soho, live mula sa Mindanao. Tutukan din ang debate sa live simulcast sa DZBB at sa livestreaming sa www.gmanews.tv.

The event will be aired live across various platforms. Catch the first leg of "PiliPinas Debates 2016" on GMA-7 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will also be live simulcast on dzBB Super Radyo, as well as livestreaming on GMA News Online (www.gmanews.tv).

You can also follow the debate through GMA News' social media account, and the hashtag #PiliPinasDebates2016.

Set in dual moderator format, Kapuso anchors Mike Enriquez and Jessica Soho will facilitate the debate, alongside Inquirer.net editor-in-chief John Nery, who will serve as co-host.
