Bongbong thanks PNoy for noticing his dyed hair
Vice presidential candidate and son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos, Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. admitted on Friday that he dyed his hair black, and thanked President Benigno Aquino III for noticing it despite his busy schedule.
Thank you Mr. President for your concern,” Marcos said at the sidelines of his campaign sorties in Alaminos and Bolinao towns in Pangasinan.
Aquino, during a Thursday speech he gave to Los Angeles' Filipino community, said that Filipinos must be reminded about the dark time in the country’s history during martial law and elder Marcos' presidency.
Aquino then went on to criticize the younger Marcos’ hair, which in reality was all gray, saying he could not accept a candidate who was unable to reveal himself as he truly was to the electorate.
“Naku talaga," Marcos meanwhile, explained. Sabi nila nagmumukha kang matanda.”
He added that his greyness came from his mother, Imelda's, side of the family.
It was Marcos' second sortie in Pangasinan, the third province in the country with the most number of voters. Last week, Marcos visited the towns of Pozzorubio, Manaoag, San Jacinto, San Fabian, and Mangaldan. — Elizabeth Marcelo, DVM, GMA News
