Poe, Escudero press into vote-rich Cavite

BACOOR, Cavite– Senator Grace Poe on Thursday brought her campaign to vote-rich Cavite, a day after facing businessmen and expounding on her platform of government and economic plans.

The presidential hopeful was joined by running mate, Senator Francis Escudero, and senatorial bets Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Neri Colmenares and lawyer Lorna Kapunan.

The Poe-Escudero tandem's Partido Galing at Puso kicked off their Cavite campaign with a public consultation at Bulihan Market in Silang and a brief visit to Dasmariñas, where they were joined by Vice Governor Jolo Revilla.

Poe will speak at the moving-up ceremony of Bacoor's day care centers at the Strike Gym before proceeding to an assembly at the Aguinaldo Shrine Freedom Park in Kawit.

Poe and Escudero will wrap up their campaign sortie by gracing a youth summit in Bacoor.

Cavite is the second vote-rich province next to Cebu, with 1.84 million registered voters, according to the Commission on Elections. – VDS, GMA News
