Four presidential bets arrive at UP-Cebu for 2nd PiliPinas Debates 2016

Four presidential candidates participating in the second leg of the PiliPinas Debates 2016 arrived with their entourage at the University of Philippines in Cebu City on Sunday afternoon.

 

The candidates include Vice President Jejomar Binay, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Grace Poe and former Interior secretary Mar Roxas.

 

Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago has begged off from the second leg of the Commission on Elections' three-part presidential debates to participate in the clinical test of a new anti-cancer pill.

 

 

All five presidential candidates participated in the first debate held in Cagayan de Oro City last February 21.

 

The second presidential debate was expected to run until 8 p.m.
